Is this an extract or concentrate? The Torani Root Beer Syrup is a syrup - more of a concentrate than an extract. 1 oz of syrup combines with 7 oz of sparkling water (from Soda Stream for example) to create a delicious Root Beer soda.
How is this different from Birch Beer? Birch beer tastes similar to root beer, but due to a more earthy and woodsy flavour it tends to taste more old-fashioned. Torani's Root Beer Syrup tends to fall a little more on the high-quality old-fashioned side as opposed to the cheap canned products in convenience stores.
